Job Title: Train Operation Support Engineer
Purpose of the Job:
* Provide real-time technical support to train drivers and operations teams in case of faults during service
* Coordinate with Alstom control room to monitor train systems remotely and respond promptly to operational anomalies
* Coordinate with traffic control and fleet management to manage train availability and service recovery
* Provide clear and accurate instructions or guidance based on established protocols and procedures
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to railway equipment providing timely solutions and support to the off-site technical interventions
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation of off-site maintenance activities, including findings and recommendations
* Analyze incidents and support post-event investigations to determine technical causes
* Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to support repairs and maintenance work
* Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous imp rovement initiatives
* Conduct field inspections special checks and assessments of rolling stock
* Review fleet failures, downtime reports and equipment histories to uncover reoccurring operation problems. As appropriate he will utilize continuous improvement tools to identify root cause and work to implement a solution helping the Reliability Growth team.
Responsabilities :
* Participates in critical task-force dedicated to troubleshooting when needed
* Defines standard rules to analyse train diagnostic data
* Defines standard sheet for troubleshooting during operational outage
* Design diagnostic algorithms in collaboration with engineering team
* Supports data analysts

Educational Requirements:
* Technical Diploma or Degree in Engineering (preferably, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering) or proven experience in railway maintenance and operation
Technical Knowledge / Experience
* Experience in Train Monitoring System development or validation or commissioning
* Experience at system level in Railway industries or big industrial plant (Power, naval...)
* Good knowledge of business analytics tool such as Tableau, powerBI...
Behavioural Skills / Competencies
* Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure
* Experience in customer service or technical support, preferably in a transportation or railway environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
* Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations in railway operations
* Data driven (makes objective decisions based on data/ facts and speaks with data)
