The position is based in Milan, within the Electrification and Automation Area, and will be offered as a permanent contract. From Day 1 you are empowered to make a difference for a better tomorrow with your full potential and creativity. /p h3Your Challenge /h3 pAs Head of Proposal Management – Customer Service, you will lead the team in managing the daily flow of requests as well as complex bids and projects, focusing on both the technical and economic phases. You will ensure that product and system offers are prepared on time and in line with both customer and company requirements, while also guaranteeing the technical integrity of the proposals, including full compliance with the technical scope and project specifications. Moreover, you will work closely with the Sales Department and Management to support order acquisition, and with the Project Execution team to ensure a smooth and effective handover. /p h3Main Activities /h3 ul liInspire, develop, and empower team members, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. /li liDefine priorities, set clear objectives, and provide regular feedback to enhance performance and motivation. /li liDrive the preparation of technical and commercial offers for revamping, retrofit, and modernization projects across medium voltage systems, protection systems, and SCADA. /li liCoordinate internal resources and ensure alignment with technical scope, deadlines, and customer expectations. /li liManage workload distribution and ensure continuous improvement in team performance and efficiency. /li liStandardization of proven concept and solutions to replicate them as function packages. /li liAct as a key interface with internal and external stakeholders, including close and ongoing collaboration with headquarter counterparts. /li liSupport the Sales team in negotiations and contribute to the commercial strategy to maximize win rates. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience in leading small but high-potential teams, with strong coaching skills and the ability to develop people, structure processes, and guide the team through a phase of growth and increasing complexity. /li liExperience in customer service offering of MV Portfolio or Protection and automation Systems and Solutions. /li liKnowledge of the medium/high voltage distribution and power generation market, understanding of electrical systems, distribution networks, electrical schemes, and tender specifications. /li liDirect experience in Customer Service, with a strong track record in technical sales support for revamping and retrofit solutions. /li liBachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electrical / Energy Engineering. /li liPassion for continuous learning and growth. /li liRespect for diversity and a collaborative mindset, with willingness to co-create and share knowledge. /li liFluency in Italian and English. /li liEligibility to work in Italy. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liFlexibility: trustful environment with an inclusive and flexible way of working driven by results; hybrid and remote working enabled by innovative tools and devices, personal computer and smartphone; wi-fi connection reimbursement. /li liWelfare: flexible welfare programs and health insurance extendable to your family; professional and extraprofessional accident insurance; free on-site lunch options. /li liNever stop growing: plenty opportunities for continuous and individual learning journeys. /li liAn inclusive team culture where you can be yourself. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity /h3 pSiemens is an equal opportunity employer, offering a safe and inclusive work environment, based on mutual respect and the appreciation of uniqueness, guaranteeing equal employment opportunities to all qualified candidates to unleash their full potential. /p h3Join Us /h3 pJoin us and be yourself.
