Position Summary
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses, mainly in general chemistry. Opportunities to teach at the graduate level may be available based on department needs. Course development, including new laboratory experiments and pedagogical methods, may be part of the role. Collaboration with colleagues, especially for multi-section courses, is expected.
Minimum Qualifications
* An advanced degree (MS, PhD) in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
* Post-doctoral experience is preferred.
* Postsecondary teaching experience is preferred.
