Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer in our Cloud Operations team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across hundreds of accounts. You will work closely with platform engineering, development, and operations teams to ensure our services are reliable, scalable, and continuously improving.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement cloud infrastructure following best practices.
* Maintain and improve existing cloud environments with a focus on automation and scalability.
* Develop self-service tools to support CI/CD pipelines and platform engineering initiatives.
* Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical services.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders including development teams, operations, and cloud service provider (CSP) support.
* Participate in daily stand-up meetings and share progress and blockers with the team.
Required Technical Skills
* Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS or Azure (both is a plus) in a DevOps/System Administrator role.
* Containerization: Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
* CI/CD: Strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment practices with a consistent focus on embedding security best practices.
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform (required).
* Automation Tools: Experience with Jenkins and GitHub actions.
* Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux environments.
* AI Tools: Comfortable using AI-based tools to enhance daily productivity.
* Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of FinOps practices.
* Relevant cloud certifications (e.G., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
* GitHub enterprise environment (GitHub actions included)
* Experience in software development (e.G., building internal tools or contributing to production codebases).
