Scope
This person is located in the office and supports the sales team to connect with suppliers, gets the best prices and submit offers to customers.
Responsibilities
1. Maintains a good relationship with new and existing customers.
2. Creates new customer portfolio and improve the existing clientele
3. Supports and organizes customer visits for the sales team.
4. Finds suppliers and communicates with them regarding customer needs, to ensure best service.
5. Conducts good relations with suppliers and customers
6. Answers shipping orders and offers required pricing
7. Follows PSA BDP internal procedures during preparing offers.
8. Prioritizes in keeping profit high during the sales and aims to get collection in quickest way possible
9. Prepares sales and marketing related reports as requested by management
10. Fixes about 15+ appointments per week
11. Obtains feedback from customer, and assists to solve their problems
12. Prevents action against economic damage related with customer-oriented situations
13. Committed to PSA BDP’s internal procedures in filing documents
14. Participates in department meetings and related trainings.
15. Acts in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
16. Follows the ‘’Information Assurance’’ requirements in all actions. And make sure direct reports obey all requirements related with Information Assurance.
Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements
Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years business experience in sales support or telemarketing in a freight forwarding company
- Fluent English – written and verbal communication, other languages are an advantage.
- Computer Skills: Outstanding Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
