Space assets and services are not fully monetized. At Revolv Space, we are solving the problem of low duty cycles by developing and manufacturing the next generation of critical subsystems enabling continuous spacecraft operations and therefore full monetization of space assets.
Solar Array Drive Assemblies, solar arrays and deployment mechanisms.
To achieve this mission, we are on the lookout for a Lead Production & AIT (Assembly, Integration & Testing). In this role, you will be getting your hands on the hardware on the production floor together with the AIT team and you will manage the team's resources (lead the team, manage priorities and rule the labs). The ideal candidate will be process-oriented, have experience in coordinating deeply technical assembly and testing activities, and have experience in manufacturing of electromechanical systems. Here's how the role is described by Aleksander, our COO: "We are currently undergoing a transformation from a product development startup to a company with a growing order backlog and production focus. Therefore, we are breaking out an AIT team to allow the R&D and AIT departments to focus on what matters most to them, respectively. You would be joining a start-up in a phase of heavy growth - this means an opportunity for you to grow into a leading role in operations and production over time. Working language: English
Build, test our products and validate processes together with the AIT team;
Ensure completeness and accuracy of all AIT & inventory-related documentation;
Collaborate with the engineering team on technical designs to derisk the AIT phase of new products;
Serve as the bridge for QA, ensuring anomalies are tracked and resolved without compromising product quality;
Guarantee inventory accuracy for the lab; A proven track record of 8+ years in space AIT (highly preferred) OR a high-reliability hardware industry (e.g., medical, defense, aviation, sensitive measurement instrumentation) - ideally high-mix, low-volume production;
Experience managing small, high-performance technical teams: you know how to "set your foot down" on quality while keeping the team motivated under a tight delivery schedule;
Systems thinking - we build electromechanical systems where mechanical, electrical, electronics and firmware components all play crucial role in product's integrity;
Fluent use of English (clear written and spoken communication);
Management and leadership skills.
Experience with environmental testing (TVAC, Vibration, EMC).
goal-oriented environment with flexible working hours;
possibility of occasional remote work;
hands-on experience with the design, manufacturing, and testing of space-grade systems;
20-min screening call with Gaia (HR Manager)
~ The language of the hiring process is English. Since this is a hands-on role, we will ask you for an in-person meeting at the later stages of the process.
