Your role
As a Clinical Specialist – Structural Heart, you will be the clinical expert for MitraClipTM therapy, supporting healthcare professionals before, during, and after procedures. You will play a key role in enabling safe, effective structural heart interventions and improving outcomes for patients.
This is a field‐based role, working closely with multidisciplinary hospital teams across Sicily and surrounding regions.
What You'll Do
* Provide hands‐on clinical and technical support in cath labs and operating rooms during MitraClip procedures
* Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and clinical staff
* Facilitate collaboration between interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and echocardiographers to ensure smooth procedure planning and execution
* Deliver field‐based training programs for physicians and hospital teams
* Engage with referring physicians, presenting structural heart technology and relevant clinical evidence
* Support the achievement of sales, growth, and budget objectives within the territory
* Act in full compliance with Abbott procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
What You Bring
* Degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent scientific discipline
* Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written)
* Strong clinical orientation and interest in patient care
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Relationship‐focused, collaborative approach
* Results‐driven mindset in a field‐based environment
* 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in medical devices or a clinical setting
