Join KONE’s European SQM team to ensure supplier capability and compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability requirements. You will drive supplier excellence through audits, agreements, and performance monitoring while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Your work supports safe, reliable People Flow across the lifecycle of building solutions. Retribuzione / Benefits
- Lead day‑to‑day SQM activities with suppliers and cross‑functional teams
- Plan and conduct supplier audits per the annual program
- Prepare, update and negotiate supplier quality agreements (Quality Annex) with Contract Owner
- Support production readiness and changes in product development, including risk analysis and part approval processes
- Monitor supplier performance using defined KPIs and support the scorecard process
- Identify quality issues and drive CAPA with suppliers
- Participate in supplier certification and approval processes
- Contribute to supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support supplier negotiations for quality improvements
- Ensure adherence to KONE sourcing principles, policies and environmental standards
Responsabilità
- 3-7 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing processes, supplier quality management, quality engineering, supply chain, or sourcing
- Fluency in Italian or Finnish (location dependent) and English
- Experience in product/process auditing; familiarity with VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
- Experience with PPAP and VDA 2 for supplier part approval
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies in relevant categories
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent project management and problem‑solving abilities; analytical mindset
- Good knowledge of supplier quality tools (Control Plans, CTQ, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, DMAIC, Poka‑Yoke)
- Self‑driven, eager to learn and coach others
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Preferred MSc in a technical field
- Fluency in additional European languages (e.g., German, Polish) and Lean/Six Sigma certification
- IATF knowledge (preferred)
