Main responsibilities
* Perform advanced thermo‑hydraulic analyses to support the design and safety of complex systems, with particular focus on two‑phase phenomena, process dynamics, and conventional and non‑conventional fluids.
* Perform studies of transients and accidental conditions, supporting the definition of design requirements, performance verification, and the preparation of technical and regulatory documentation.
Requisiti
* Strong expertise in two‑phase phenomena (boiling, condensation, two‑phase flow instabilities) applied to nuclear plants and components.
* In‑depth knowledge of water hammer phenomena, fast transients, and process dynamic analysis.
* Experience in using and interpreting the results of system thermal‑hydraulic codes such as RELAP5 and CATHARE.
* Use of CFD codes for local analyses and system support, such as ANSYS CFX, ANSYS Fluent, STAR‑CCM+.
* Knowledge of fluid dynamics and hydrodynamics of liquid metals and/or advanced fluids, in particular lead/lead‑bismuth, sodium, and molten salts, will be considered as a plus.
