Role Description
We are looking for an
Electrical Engineer
to join our Battery R&D team and support the development, testing, and modeling of battery systems at laboratory scale.
This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong electrical and system-level background, complementary to battery scientists and chemists.
The position focuses on electrical modeling, system analysis, and experimental validation, with hands-on involvement in laboratory R&D activities. Training will be provided for battery assembly, disassembly, and test procedures.
Responsibilities
* RFB cell assembly, testing and data analysis
* Analyze current paths, losses, and shunt currents in battery setups
* Develop electrical and system-level models using MATLAB / Simulink (Open Modelica)
* Define and support battery testing from an electrical perspective
* Collaborate closely with battery scientists, chemists, and R&D engineers
* Support laboratory-scale R&D activities
Qualifications
* MSc in Electrical Engineering (or closely related field)
* Skilled with Matlab/Simulink or Open Modelica
* Solid understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and measurements
* Interest in battery systems, energy storage, and R&D environments
* Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary R&D team
* Good written and verbal communication skills (english)
