Inspired by the era of the Grand Tour, the Hotel De La Ville elegantly marries 18th-century architecture with contemporary luxury and unparalleled service. The interior, a collaboration between Olga Polizzi and renowned architect Tommaso Ziffer, entwines traditional design elements with state-of-the-art technology to stunning effect. The Position Main purpose: Reports to: Executive Housekeeper. Main duties & responsibilities: - Ensure that housekeeping requests by Guests are responded to in a timely and efficient manner and where possible anticipate Guest’s needs; - Guarantee daily inspection of Guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas to maintain and reach our service standard; - Help in maintaining all department inventories and cleaning schedules; - Support the Executive Housekeeper to maintain the décor of staff house, lockers and back of the house; - Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the housekeeping staff appraisal, training and development; - Comply with the financial objectives of the department. Competencies required: - Managing Team Performance: Sets high standards for oneself and Team Members, provides guidance, development and takes corrective action in order to achieve consistently high levels of service. - Personal Effectiveness: Adapts interpersonal style and skills so that high quality results are achieved. Modifies behaviour to accommodate for certain individuals, situations and different tasks. - Personal and team development: Seeks opportunities to learn and to develop themselves and others in order to add value to the performance of the department and hotel. - Business awareness: Understands the direct connection between day-to-day service delivery and how it impacts departmental, hotel and company success. - Service excellence: Delivers service standards, which consistently exceed guest expectations. - Technically skilled: Demonstrates and understands job requirements and displays the technical skills and knowledge required to perform job well and in line with the departmental SOPs. Other requirements: - Fluent in Italian; - English knowledge (intermediate level); - PC literate; - Previous professional experience in the same role is preferred; - High School certificate.
