APAC CDS’ mission is to safely provide our customers with the unmatched reliability, security, and performance that AWS is known for. APAC CDS covers six disciplines of deployments, projects, service, colo, on-call support, and management.Controls Deployment & Service (CDS) Engineers deliver and support data center building automation systems, such as Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). CDS Engineers work to deploy and service building automation systems, to ensure the health of our data centers.Key Job ResponsibilitiesDeployment of data center controls, on time, with effective management of vendors to ensure minimal defects at the point of Power and Facilities Hand-Off (PFHO)Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automationService and support provided to partner teams, providing diagnosis and resolution of Loss of Visibility (LOV), Loss of Resilience (LOR), Large Scale Event (LSE), Critical Scale Event (CSE), and other operations impacting eventsResolution of tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Delivery of further initiatives to improve the efficiency of our data centers or our operations proceduresBasic Qualifications3+ years of vendor management experience4+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment5+ years of data center engineering or operations experienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications3+ years of construction or project management experience
