We are now looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join the Arduino Cloud and Software team to help us ensure we are able to consistently deploy high-quality applications. You will be responsible for all software to meet both internal and external specifications, as well as satisfy user needs before product delivery. Lead the QA strategy and processes for the Arduino Cloud and Software team.
Guide a small team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Define and monitor key quality metrics to ensure the highest standards for all software products and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all software quality related issues collaborating closely with product, support, and other external teams.
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
~8+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
~ Proven experience leading a QA team and developing a comprehensive QA strategy.
~ Deep expertise in QA methodologies and a variety of testing types.
~ Professional experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
~ Experience with backend API testing.
Experience with performance and load testing.
Knowledge of software security guidelines or experience in security testing.
Experience in the IoT field.
