We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Machine Learning Engineer to join our UniQue Ispra team. /ppIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services. /ppstrongWhat will you be bringing to the team? /strong /pulliCollect business requirement and develop advanced data mining solutions or identify, assess and deploy relevant existing data mining, machine learning and business intelligence solutions, in detail: /li /ulolliTo analyse user needs and requirements /liliTo identify and propose alternative implementations to support user requirements /liliTo architect a final system solution /liliTo contribute to the implementation of the identified architecture. /liliTo devise quality, security and architectural plans and assist in their implementation /li /olulliDevelop specifications and design of presentation interfaces with optimal usability/user experience; follow up with their implementation; /liliIdentify, collect, convert and update different data types/sets in several locations; /liliProduces data models according to specific problems statements; /liliScripting and programming; /liliContribute to the design and implementation of the analytics architecture and its solution stack (including performance aspects, physical design, capacity dimensions etc…) /liliWrite the different documentation associated with the tasks and liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies. /li /ulpstrongWhat do you need to succeed in this position? /strong /pulliMaster Degree+7 years of relevant experience /liliAt least 3 years of specific expertise in R or other platforms for statistical computing (e.g. R, SAS, SPSS, STATA) and data visualisation /liliAt least 2 years of specific expertise in scripting languages Python, Javascript /liliAt least 2 years of specific expertise in relational or non-relational database architecture and SQL query development /liliExcellent knowledge of Data Analytics techniques and tools, including the underpinning mathematical concepts; a basic knowledge of multivariate data analysis and principal component analysis is also desirable. /liliStrong background in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. /liliDesirable expertise in one or more of the following: predictive modeling (forecasting, recommendation), prescriptive analytics (simulation), sentiment analysis, topic detection, social media data processing, trend/anomaly detection, and recommendation systems. /liliProficient in business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., SAP, Business Objects, Tableau). /liliSkilled in ETL processes and tools (e.g., Talend Open Studio). /liliSolid command of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Hadoop, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) and modern scalable data stores (e.g., Elasticsearch). /liliKnowledge of web application architectures, including both frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, APIs for sync/async communication) and backend frameworks (Python, .NET/C#, Node.js/Express.js, Spring Boot/Java). /liliComfortable working in Unix environments. /liliExperience with continuous integration/delivery, automated testing, containerization, and orchestration platforms, applying DevOps practices (e.g., GitLab, OpenShift). /liliGood communication skills in English, both orally and in written form /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
