COMMODITY MANAGER NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
By joining Electrolux Professional team, you will take on the challenge to drive and execute purchasing activities in cross-functional product projects. You will be highly cost, time and quality driven to deliver the most profitable product for our customers, as well as recommending product innovations based on improving quality.
The position requires an interest in market dynamics and competitors behavior, negotiation and pricing, manufacturing processes, and risk mitigation.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Manage project related supplier relations across all direct categories
Member in applicable project cross-functional team
Execute major resourcing according Global Commodity strategy
Create partnership with R&D; organization for an efficient purchasing approach
Develop and maintain a project sourcing plan in alignment with Sourcing Strategy and Project Targets, compile other sourcing prerequisites and secure timely hand-over to the Sourcing plant buyer
Handle Cost Modelling process to Reach Cost KPI targets for strong product competitiveness
Ensure supplier readiness for production
Negotiate NDA's, MPA's (Master Purchase Agreements) and other contracts
Enhance and Lead innovation input from suppliers and promote it into Electrolux
WHAT'S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE
University degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
3-4 years of experience in purchasing within a multinational environment
Exposure to logistics, manufacturing, or R&D; is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment
Fluent English required; additional languages are an asset
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Results-driven and autonomous, with strong decision-making abilities
Comfortable working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and demanding targets
Team-oriented, open-minded, and creative, with a willingness to take on new challenges
Willingness to travel as required
