The primary purpose of this role is to be the on-site technical reference point for all mechanical works. The Mechanical Field Engineer will supervise and coordinate the installation and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, focusing on HVAC, Plumbing, and specialist installations. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations to guarantee the efficient progress of the construction project in Libya. 
Installation & Commissioning: Supervise and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, Plumbing, and Specialist Mechanical Systems. 
Quality Control: Ensure all mechanical works are executed in strict compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and project quality standards. 
Schedule Management: Monitor and manage adherence to the work schedule for all mechanical scope elements, proactively addressing potential delays. 
Coordinate on-site mechanical teams, subcontractors, and resources to optimize productivity and workflow. 
HSE Compliance: Champion Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards on site, conducting regular inspections and promoting a proactive approach to risk mitigation. 
Prepare periodic progress reports on mechanical works status, quality, and potential risks for Project Management. 
Verify and manage site technical documentation (as-builts, testing reports, commissioning records). 
Strong command of construction, installation, and commissioning methodologies related to HVAC systems and Plumbing/Specialist Installations. 
Site Management: Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary resources and manage field execution quality. 
Mandatory experience in MEP systems supervision for healthcare facilities (Hospitals) or structurally similar industrial/complex facilities. 
HSE Commitment: Deep understanding and commitment to international HSE standards and risk assessment procedures. 
Aptitude for working in a complex, remote, and international environment. 
Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. 
IT Skills: Good knowledge and practice of IT programs (Microsoft Office Suite). 
Technical Diploma or a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 
Experience: At least 2-5 years of site experience specifically focused on MEP systems supervision in construction projects.
