As a Contract Engineering Specialist based in our Noventa di Piave site, you'll play a key role in integrating complex components and products, managing requirements, and helping drive quality across the full product lifecycle. /p pThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is building their systems engineering expertise and wants to work across disciplines, develop customer-facing skills, and grow toward greater technical autonomy. /p h3What You'll Do /h3 pYou'll work across the full product integration lifecycle, ensuring components and systems come together efficiently, reliably, and to specification. Specifically, you will: /p ul liProvides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial team. Possesses a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies. To include 'ITO': Technical analysis of client need: definition and optimization of the products; scope (description); schedule; industrial scheme; cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures. Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications costing elements for further contract execution phases. This also includes OTR part where engineers work on customizing the products and implementing it for specific customer needs. /li liBroadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. /li liBasic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. /li liMay have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. /li liA job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.
