This role leads physical security operations across multiple sites, reporting directly to the Cluster Security Manager. We offer comprehensive professional development opportunities and the chance to shape the security of one of the world's largest cloud providers. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliSecurity Operations Management /liliManage on-site physical security operations for Data Centers /liliOversee access control systems, guard force operations, and vendor contracts /liliConduct risk assessments, security audits, and incident reporting /liliGenerate and analyze security metrics /liliImplement and maintain CCTV monitoring systems and media security protocols /liliEnsure protection of customer data through robust security measures /liliProcess and Policy Management /liliImplement new security processes while maintaining compliance with Amazon policies /liliDevelop and execute security plans for special events /liliCreate evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols /liliEstablish benchmarks for security performance /liliDesign customized policies to meet internal and external regulations /liliRelationship Management /liliBuild and maintain partnerships with internal teams (DC Engineering, DC Operations) /liliCoordinate with external partners (Vendors, Emergency Services) /liliSupervise security contractors and monitor their performance /liliCollaborate with global security teams /liliProject Management /liliDeliver security projects within specified timelines and budgets /liliProvide regular status updates to stakeholders /liliIdentify and address safety and security deficiencies /liliConduct data analysis to support risk assessments /liliTravel to other geographic regions as required /li /ulh3Qualifications Requirements /h3ullibLegal Investigative Expertise: /b Comprehensive knowledge of investigative laws and practices; experience conducting security investigations; understanding of workplace safety regulations and compliance /lilibTechnical Expertise: /b Advanced knowledge of security technology, including access control systems, CCTV operations, identification systems, and special security applications /lilibProfessional Certifications: /b Relevant security industry certifications; additional safety or security credentials /lilibManagement Experience: /b Proven vendor management experience; demonstrated decision-making abilities in complex situations /lilibTechnical Skills: /b Proficiency with data gathering and analysis tools; ability to quickly adapt to new company systems /lilibLanguage Communication: /b Corporate/DC security experience with a global company; experience writing and publishing security standards /lilibTechnical Knowledge: /b Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and components /li /ulh3Equal opportunity and privacy /h3pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
