Overview M365 - IT Application Engineer, Kuiper Production Operations Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Kuiper M365 Engineering configures, deploys and manages M365 productivity services to enable collaboration through secure, reliable, and highly-available services. We are seeking an M365 engineer to design, implement, and operate the M365 suite in GCC High Environment with a primary focus on maintaining reliable and secure M365 collaboration services, troubleshooting issues, and providing engineering support to the team. About the team: This team collaborates with Amazon Security teams and key stakeholders to intake requirements and deliver a customer productivity experience to Project Kuiper resources. Responsibilities Design and implement Productivity applications in Kuiper environments using Infrastructure as Code. Identify, research, recommend, and implement Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, and Voice. Serve as the administrator for M365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Voice). Enforce compliance principles including least privilege access, password management, and audit logging for all productivity applications. Drive third-party secure collaboration efforts to accelerate Kuiper projects. Partner with Amazon security organizations to ensure compliance with existing security policies. Engage with and influence key stakeholders and internal teams to meet or exceed compliance, security, and operational requirements. Create and implement automated processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency and scalability. Develop monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness, and efficiency of productivity services. Develop and maintain documentation for the Microsoft 365 environment for engineering and end-user audiences. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
