PpTo strengthen our client's Procurement team, we are looking for a Procurement / Subcontractor Manager who will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of key subcontracted equipment and subsystems in their projects. /p h3Your Tasks /h3 ul liAct as the main interface with suppliers, from bid phase to final delivery, managing and maintaining the relationship with subcontractors as main point of contact. /li liManage the full subcontracting process: RFQs, supplier selection, contract negotiation, purchase orders, expediting, delivery, and acceptance. ul liSubcontractors Sourcing and Identification /li liRFI/RFP Preparation and Coordination (including ESA Best Practices process) /li liWriting the Statement of Work and coordinating the preparation of the relevant data packages (e.g. Specification, general supporting docs, etc…) of the items to be procured /li liSupporting the contract officer in the contract preparation for what concerns the programmatic part /li liLeading and coordinating the subcontractors’ proposals evaluation based on defined selection criteria /li liLeading and coordinating the Supplier Activities and Contract Negotiation following the project manager guidelines and targets /li /ul /li liEnsure on-time, on-cost and on-quality delivery of critical equipment and subsystems. /li liWork closely with Engineering, MAIT, and Quality to monitor performance and resolve technical or contractual issues. /li liIdentification and proposal of cost reduction and improvement opportunities. /li liIdentification and management of Subcontractor project risks. /li liPreparation and coordination, as chairman, of meetings, reviews and workshops. /li liParallel coordination of the procurement activities for multi-projects. /li liContract change management and negotiation. /li liContribute to supplier/subcontractors’ evaluation, performance monitoring, and lessons learned. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree (MSc) in Aerospace, Electronics, Telecommunications, Management, Mechanical or comparable qualifications. /li li3–5 years’ experience in procurement, subcontracting or project supply chain, ideally in the space, aerospace, or defence sector. /li liStrong knowledge of contract management and negotiation. /li liFamiliarity with ESA/ECSS and/or MIL-STD standards, Export Control regulations and experience of consulting for engineering, testing, product assurance and space project management is a plus. /li liFluent in English; other European languages are a plus. /li liAvailability to travel to suppliers in Europe and abroad. /li /ul h3Key Skills /h3 ul liProject contract management mindset /li liAbility to manage complex supplier relationships /li liAnalytical thinking and problem-solving attitude /li liTeam player with strong communication and negotiation skills /li liResilient and result-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines. /li /ul bLocation: /b pMadrid at least 6 months/ Milan /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
