About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to manage and expand sales in Italy for membrane-based water treatment solutions. You will identify market opportunities, build customer relationships, and position our client as a trusted partner.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Develop new business and grow existing customer relationships across Italy
* Understand customer needs to recommend tailored membrane solutions
* Contribute to regional sales strategy and support marketing initiatives
* Handle product certifications and quality documentation processes
* Monitor competitor activities and market trends
* Manage day-to-day sales operations including offer creation and customer support
* Represent our client at trade fairs and seminars
* Collaborate with Product Management and Technical Teams on pilot projects
Requirements:
* University degree in process or environmental engineering or a related technical field (Master's degree is a plus)
* At least 5 years of sales experience in a technical or industrial environment
* Experience in the membrane filtration or water treatment sector
* Proven track record in B2B sales and strong knowledge of membrane technologies
* Skilled in CRM systems such as Salesforce and experienced with pricing strategies
* Confident in delivering product training and high-level customer interactions
Languages:
Business-fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are advantageous
