The research focuses on engineering novel immune cell based therapies for solid tumor treatment.Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be to test newly engineered T cells and/or macrophages in relevant preclinical mouse models of solid tumors. You will be exposed to cutting‐edge research in bioengineering and cancer therapeutic development and testing.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
A PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related disciplinesDocumented experience in working with preclinical in vivo models for tumor immunologyStrong publication recordGood command of spoken and written English
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Experience in producing lentiviruses and engineering T cells and/or macrophages ex vivoAbility to work in a challenging and international environmentCapacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environmentPossess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
A yearly gross salary ranging between 35k and 37kPrivate health care coverage depending on your role and contractCandidates from abroad or Italian citizens who have carried scientific research activity permanently abroad and meet specific requirements may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% from 6 to 13 years.
