Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Contribute to the definition and development of mixed-signal and digital verification methodologies and tools, actively incorporating and evaluating AI/ML techniques to enhance the IFX IC design development flow
- Align with internal development engineers world-wide and EDA vendors to understand the requirements of next-generation products and initiate strategic projects to prepare Infineon for future verification challenges
- Drive verification efficiency and effectiveness by standardization, innovation and reuse including the strategic application of AI/ML, and by fostering university cooperations and engaging with verification expert communities on AI-driven advancements
- Consult and guide internal developers locally in all kinds of verification issues
- Generate, maintain and execute technical training in your area of responsibility
Your Profile
As a Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer, you manage your performance consistently and reliably. Furthermore, you push ideas to their full implementation and application. Lastly, you are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or similar
- At least 3 years of professional experience with deep understanding in mixed-signal and digital verification of IC designs
- Good experience with EDA tools for mixed-signal and digital verification such as Cadence AMS-Designer/XCelium and Synopsys VCS/XA. Experience with test bench concepts and methodologies (e.g., UVM) is highly desirable
- Profound knowledge of HDL languages, particularly SystemVerilog. Ability to understand, write synthesizable and behavioral code, including real-number modelling is a plus
- Initial experience in applying AI/ML to IC design and verification, or a strong interest and capacity to quickly learn and lead the integration of these technologies
- Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Shell, enabling you to efficiently implement and test scripts
- An independent and responsible working style within an international team
- Fluent English skills
