Thanks to NEXTCHEM’s extensive know-how of nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture, fuels, chemicals and polymers, you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated driving innovation and sustainability in the energy transition sector. /p pThe candidate will become part of the NX Engineering District of Catania having the opportunity to work on innovative and novel technologies to fully enable the energy transition, click on the link for further information: NX engineering district | NextChem /p pThe Recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of NEXTCHEM. /p h3Pressure Vessels Heat Exchangers Engineer /h3 pbPressure Vessels Heat Exchangers Engineer /b /p h3Mission /h3 ul liResponsibility of the activities pertaining to the discipline within a project, in compliance with the technical project requirement, the assigned budget and the project schedule, assuring the cost optimization. /li liResponsible to carry on all the activities relevant to the supply of a static or group of static equipment with a vendor from the request for quotation to the final delivery, in coordination with the Post Order and Inspection department. /li /ul h3Key activities and responsibilities /h3 pDuring the execution of a project, the duties are: /p ul liPrepare and discuss with Project Team (Project Manager and/or Project Engineering Manager) and Engineering Head of Department the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life. /li liPrepare Material Requisitions for Static Equipment, such as Reactors, Columns, Vessels, Tanks, Heat Exchangers, developing both mechanical calculation and 2D drawings, including Client and Company requirement inside the material requisition; /li liPrepare Technical Evaluation and Tabulation of the vendor inquired and cooperate with Procurement Department in the definition of Bidder list and short list of vendor before tabulation; /li liReview and keeping continuously updated the Statics Equipment Discipline procedures, guidelines and standards; /li liInteract with Client representatives and Vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs; /li liGuarantee assistance to the inspection and construction departments upon request as per project needs. /li liProvide feedback to Project Engineering Manager/ Head of Department concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work instruction to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department; /li liConduct technical training as per department and Company needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Group for new Design techniques; /li liKeep him/herself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline. /li /ul h3Competences /h3 ul liExperience specifically related to different types of static equipment for Petrochemical or Oleochemical applications (Pressure Vessels, ST Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Filters, Columns, Plate Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Storage; /li liAbility to review client specifications standards, prepare customized equipment supply and design specifications, prepare equipment inquiry/purchase requisitions; /li liCompetence in preparing equipment mechanical data sheets by the use of 2D Cad software, design software technical bid evaluations; /li liReview of vendor engineering drawings, calculations, technical documents, and interface with other disciplines and departments; /li liKnowledge of API, ASME, ANSI, PED Directive, TEMA, EN and other process industry codes and standards is necessary; /li liAbility to produce accurate project deliverables and maintain project schedules and man hour budgets; /li /ul h3Skills Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering /li li+2/3 years of experience in the same position /li lifluеnt English speaker and writer /li liwilling to travel for work /li liAbility to adapt in a fast paced environment /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
