As Grid Manager onshore in Italy, you will lead grid connection activities from feasibility to commissioning for multiple projects. You will collaborate with regional teams to shape electrical design and manage regulatory and stakeholder engagements. You will assess options, costs, and risks while ensuring alignment with Italian energy regulation and procurement processes. This role offers the chance to influence onshore renewable projects in a fast-growing, values-driven company.

* Manage grid connection processes from initial assessment to final agreement, engaging stakeholders and identifying risks
* Analyze connection options, costs, and programme impact; feed technical inputs to risk registers
* Collaborate with regional teams (PMs, engineers, BD) to develop project design for multiple projects
* Monitor Italian onshore transmission regulatory regimes and their implications
* Participate in consultations with government, regulators, TSOs and other stakeholders
* Define electrical layout for feasibility to executive design with emphasis on HV/MV systems
* Select main electrical equipment (cables, transformers, substations) for projects
* Provide technical support to Procurement during RFQs for electrical stations and equipment
* Prepare Nadara technical specifications for standardization
* Discuss with manufacturers to verify product suitability and compatibility
Responsabilità
* Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering or related discipline
* 5-6+ years in a similar role
* In-depth knowledge of the Italian energy industry, including key concepts, xjrgpwk regulation and stakeholders
* Knowledge of the connection application process for E-Distribuzione and TERNA (Web portals, executive engineering, regional differences)
* Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders; both technical and non-technical
* Full clean driving license
* Fluent in Italian and English
* Knowledge of MS Office
