Who We're Looking For
Accounting Specialist
As an Accounting Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records for your assigned area, in line with business needs, corporate policies, and both local and international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end accuracy of financial records.
- Manage selected general ledger activities to meet local and group accounting and statutory requirements.
- Support internal controls by maintaining proper documentation and reconciling general ledger balances with source data.
- Contribute to timely and accurate month-end closings, in line with the closing calendar.
- Assist accounting managers and controllers in identifying and resolving accounting issues, providing recommendations when needed.
- Actively participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience, ideally in an international industrial group or audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS / Local GAAP). Familiarity with US GAAP and Group Reporting is a plus.
- Advanced IT skills: Excel, Access, SAP (MM, FI, CO), Hyperion (HFM Genius), VBA.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of other European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) is a plus.
