From Day 1 you are empowered to make a difference for a better tomorrow with your full potential and creativity.Your ChallengeAs a Field Service Engineer (FSE) playing a key role in securing automation systems within the factory automation domain your main focus will be on on-site cybersecurity activities at customer locations, supporting the protection of machines, production lines, and industrial networks against cyber threats.You will work closely with customers, OEMs, and internal teams to assess, implement, and maintain industrial cybersecurity measures, ensuring system integrity, availability, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.G. IEC *****).
Execution of on-site cybersecurity service activities at OEMs and end customersAssessment of industrial plants, machines, and networks to identify cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilitiesImplementation of industrial cybersecurity measures, including system hardening, network segmentation and secure communication; firewall and access control configuration, patch and vulnerability managementSupport in the execution of cybersecurity assessments and preparation of related technical documentationAsset identification and analysis of automation components (PLCs, HMIs, drives, networks)Implementation and support of secure remote access solutionsSupport during commissioning and retrofit projects with a focus on secure system integrationCollaboration with engineering and project teams to integrate security by design in automation solutionsContribution to incident response and troubleshooting related to cybersecurity issues in industrial environmentsSupport to internal teams (hotline, back-office) on cybersecurity topicsPreparation of technical reports, risk assessments, and customer documentation in line with Siemens standardsTo be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experienceExperience (or strong motivation to grow) in industrial cybersecurity and automation systemsKnowledge of industrial cybersecurity concepts (e.G. defence in depth, risk assessment, system hardening) and network fundamentals (IP, routing, firewalls, VPN)Basic understanding of relevant standards (e.G.
