We are looking for a Data Center Facility Manager to lead and ensure the reliability of our global infrastructure. As the guardian of our data center operations, you will drive performance, operational efficiency, and safety across complex electrical, mechanical, and support systems.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure, maintaining high availability and performance while meeting service level agreements.
Lead onsite teams of 24x7 shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver work that adheres to established practices, procedures, and safety protocols.
Drive safety, security culture and compliance within the team.
Hire, coach, and promote team members, managing career development and performance.
Control operations budget and expenditures.
Lead improvement projects from conception to completion, often coordinating with support teams.
Act as the escalation point for all facilities‑related issues, overseeing routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and building monitoring systems.
Utilize root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem‑solving skills.
Respond to out‑of‑hours emergency calls.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of people management and team development experience.
5+ years of engineering work managing large‑scale services.
Experience maintaining SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting.
Experience operating a mission‑critical team or product.
High school or equivalent diploma.
Current, active U.S. Government security clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years in a management position with five or more direct reports.
5+ years working in data centers, emphasizing building and equipment operation.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations (feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, air handling units, CRAC).
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and currently possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Candidates will be required to maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph throughout the duration of the role.
