1. Lead a global engineering team (2-4 people) of Electronic Engineers located in different Emerson sites
2. Provide leadership in technical reviews and issue resolution for the team
3. Refresh and improve legacy circuit designs to meet customer and industry requirements
4. Own the development of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), including layout build.
5. Ensure all designs meet relevant industrial standards for EMI/EMC, including documentation and testing for regulatory compliance
6. Support prototype builds and cross-discipline testing, including debugging of PCBs
7. Strengthen Component Engineering Process to ensure proactive component obsolescence in collaboration with Supply Chain.
8. Lead product line improvements, cost reductions, and rationalization initiatives
9. Offer support to Manufacturing, Quality, Supply chain and vendors in technical query resolution

For This Role, You Will Need:
10. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
11. 5+ years of experience in crafting, developing, and fixing embedded systems
12. 2+ years of experience in handling small teams
13. Demonstrated experience in project management, handling resources, budgets, and schedules
14. Proficient in developing 16/32-bit Microcontrollers/Microprocessors based systems
15. Willingness to travel on short assignments
16. Fluency in Italian language
17. Good knowledge of English language
18. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
19. Master’s degree in electronic engineering, Electrical, or a related field is required, while also valuing equivalent experience.
20. Extensive knowledge and experience in industrial actuators
21. Detailed knowledge of industrial standards (CE, EMI/EMC, SIL, and hands-on experience
22. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Italian)
23. Experience with Agile project management
24. Problem solving techniques using six sigma methodologies
25. Prior experience in the industrial automation or control systems industry.
26. Working experience in developing product with Cybersecurity as per IEC62443
27. Experience with firmware development and associate tools (., Keil, IAR Embedded Workbench).
28. Experience in debugging Communication Protocols –Bluetooth, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP - Profibus, Lonworks, HART
