We are seeking Software Development Engineers to join our high-impact development team. Delivery partners are independent medium- and large-sized businesses responsible for transporting packages from delivery stations to customers. Our broader goal is to build a reliable labor capacity network through scalable, efficient, and innovative operations that support business growth while delighting customers and empowering delivery partners and their workforce. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with minimal guidance. Good communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively are essential. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional and globally distributed teams. Responsibilities
Take full ownership of product and feature development across all phases, from design through production. Deliver high-quality, scalable, and highly available solutions with a strong focus on reliability. Collaborate closely with engineering partners to refine designs and optimize implementation. Drive project planning, execution, and delivery while meeting established timelines and commitments. Contribute to the hiring, mentoring, and development of technical talent within the team. Develop and implement quality plans, project strategies, test approaches, and processes in partnership with business and program stakeholders. Advance innovation by driving best practices and contributing to intellectual property development.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language. 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
