This includes systems for propellant loading, pressure testing, and fluid line conditioning, all of which are essential to ensuring mission success. You will also be involved in the Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Testing (MAIT) of propulsion components and subsystems, giving your contribution to the continuous improvement of test activities by updating, maintaining, and automating processes and procedures. Additionally, you will provide hands-on support to the manufacturing team throughout the AIT phases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop fluidic ground support equipment (e.g., pressure panels, pump carts, fluid test benches, purge and fill systems) for spacecraft integration and test campaigns. This can include FGSE for propulsion purposes, thermal/pressure test purposes or any kind of domain.
* Support the assembly, integration, and maintenance of FGSE components, including piping, valves, regulators, sensors, and instrumentation.
* Prepare detailed technical documentation including P&IDs, design specifications, assembly drawings, test procedures, and operation manuals.
* Collaborate with systems, propulsion, design and test engineers to define FGSE interface requirements and ensure compatibility with spacecraft fluidic systems.
* Support spacecraft fueling operations and hazardous fluid handling with strong adherence to safety protocols.
* Supporting the integration and testing of propulsion components and subsystems under clean room conditions from acceptance to launch campaign shipment.
* Update and maintain propulsion test plans and procedures.

* Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and fluidic systems
* Experience in writing engineering documents (requirements specifications, P&I Diagrams, ICD, etc.) and test procedures
* Knowledge of safety principles and best practices while working with high pressure fluids
* Familiarity with aerospace cleanliness standards, pressure systems safety protocols, and leak detection techniques
* Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills
* Professional proficiency in English
* University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of EU/US relevant directives (ATEX/NEC500, PED, etc.) is a strong asset
* Knowledge and understanding of electronic systems and PLC are a strong asset
* Experience with programming languages such as Python, LabView, etc.
* Proficiency with CAD tools or fluid simulation/analysis software
* Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ECSS, Air Force Space Command Manual 91710, ASME)
* Knowledge of space propulsion and thermal subsystems
* Quality-driven approach with high attention to detail
