The Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON) invites applications for clinical track faculty positions focused on teaching, curricular development, and integration of foundational sciences (anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology), with expertise to teach chemistry. This is a 9-month non-tenure track open rank position for appointment at the clinical assistant professor rank or higher based on the applicant’s education, program of scholarship, and teaching experience.
Within the context of the Loyola University Chicago and MNSON missions, visions, values, and strategic initiatives, the faculty member will:
* Teach in undergraduate programs as appropriate to expertise and program needs; primary responsibilities in foundational science courses
* Employ diverse teaching strategies in classroom, online, laboratory, and clinical settings
* Collaborate on curriculum and course planning, improvement, and evaluation
* Develop and disseminate scholarship to advance nursing practice and education
* Engage in service activities aligned with the mission and strategic goals of MNSON, the University, and the nursing profession
* Contribute to goals for inclusive excellence and anti-racism

Candidates will possess:
* Potential to establish and maintain a scholarship program, consistent with rank expectations
* Teaching experience in chemistry, including labs, gained through appointments or graduate study
* Doctoral degree in a related field; professional degrees also acceptable
