The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining a log and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger, monthly closing reports in line with internal cost control accounting rules, appropriate balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating and reconciling depreciation of all fixed‑asset accounts, bank reconciliations on a monthly basis, preparing annual work papers for year‑end audits and calculation and presentation of taxes. /ph3Roles And Responsibilities /h3ulliGeneral accounts, accruals and prepayments, invoicing and bookkeeping. /liliCalculate monthly accrued income. /liliPreparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts. /liliPreparation of monthly closing and reports for the clients. /liliPreparation of internal and external audits and liaison with auditors. /liliCredit control, budgets, cash flows and payments online under BACs and CHAPs. /liliBalance Sheet reconciliations. /liliSupervision and control of timely billing and related payments. /liliPreparing and submitting VAT / Corporation tax returns and liaison with HMRC and tax advisors. /liliPreparing documentation and justifications for VAT inspections/penalties. /liliPreparing KPIs for review. /liliDealing with customers/suppliers and other departments. /liliFulfil annual statutory accounts and prepare SPV level tagging for submission to HMRC (UK) and liaison with auditors. /liliReporting aged debtors and creditors. /liliAccruals and prepayment maintenance of all trackers. /liliAssistance in cash flow forecast (short term) – cash needs report. /liliSupporting the preparation of trading position reports. /liliAssistance in cash sweep calculation. /li /ulh3What we offer /h3ulliDirect exposure to the business. /liliSocial benefits as paid time off on December 24th and 31st, as well as on your birthday starting from the second year of your contract.
