Overview:
The Account and Payroll Specialist has to elaborate data for journal entries, general ledger and related financial statements. The Account and Payroll Specialists accumulates information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports and taxes. Takes note of payable and receivable transactions; assists in preparing financial reports and keeps the general accountancy together with suppliers and customers accountancy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Timely enter accurate journal entries.
- Support in month end closing procedures and year-end financial statement preparation
- Elaborating expired reminders.
- Timely and accurate posting of payable/receivable transactions.
- Provide analysis of business transactions, this includes but is not limited to; customer accounts, AP & AR aging, OPEX, manufacturing costs, and sales scorecard.
- Register the accounting records in the M3 management software.
- Bank and cash reconciliations.
- Recoding employers’ attendance, send data to the external payroll office for coupon processing, checking the final result and registering the coupon in the accounts.
- Preparing documents for the tax office.
- Work across departments and business units to resolve issues with transactions.
- Actively involvement in controlling activities such as: costing, overhead calculation, profitability by products and customers, inventory management and ad-hoc business analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or an accountancy diploma (high school) with a previous experience in accounting or taxation
- Intermediate English level
- Generally precise, organized and accurate
- Able to work independently
- Able to understand the department’s processes and able to interface the colleagues
- Problem solving approach
