We are looking for an Operational Technologies & IT Applications Engineer to work at ESRIN's premises in Frascati, Italy.The ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) is the European Space Agency's base in Frascati, Italy. From this location ESA conducts most of their earth observation research, including data analysis and distribution for other non-ESA satellites.Responsibilities
Providing expert advice on FM OT systems, including BMS, VSS, sensors, and automation.System administration of corporate applications, including CIFM and ACS.Evaluating automation tools and ensuring alignment with departmental evolution.Coordinating with IT Department specialists.Acting as Process Owner for Archibus and Dormakaba EXOS, including participation in governance and change-management activities.Supporting local users through technical assistance and escalations whilst also overseeing the implementation of the ESA REFM Cloud tenant.Enabling data-driven use cases and interoperability with analytics platforms.Preparing reports and representing REFM in corporate meetings.Cybersecurity best practices, threat awareness, and OT compliance support.
Qualifications
Master's degree in a relevant discipline.At least 5 years of experience in relevant field.Working knowledge of Archibus and Dormakaba EXOS.Exposure to operational technologies such as BMS, VSS, sensors, and automation systems.Familiarity with cybersecurity principles.Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
