1. Oversee the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns, computations and supporting schedules.
2. Provide technical guidance on tax advisory projects, including restructurings, tax due diligence, tax risk assessments and cross-border tax matters.
3. Conduct research on local and international tax legislation, circulars, double tax treaties and emerging tax developments.
4. Support tax audits by drafting responses, preparing analyses and liaising with relevant authorities.
5. Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, high quality and timely completion.
6. Mentor and guide team members, providing technical guidance, constructive feedback and support for professional development.
7. Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals and tax updates.
8. Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions and support business development initiatives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
9. University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Law or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree will be considered a plus.
10. Professional qualification in Accounting (ACA/ACCA/CPA) or Tax (ADIT) or actively pursuing one.
11. 6-8+ years of relevant experience in tax within a professional services environment, ideally with exposure to international clients.
12. Proven experience managing small to medium-sized engagements and supervising junior staff.
13. Strong technical knowledge of Cypriot tax legislation and international tax principles, with the ability to provide practical solutions.
14. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
15. Clear and confident communication skills, able to explain complex matters to clients and team members.
16. Leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor team members and encourage knowledge sharing.
17. Strong commercial awareness and a proactive client service mindset.
18. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
19. Proficient in MS Office.
