As a key player in Unispace’s design team, you will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-impact, functional, and beautiful spaces. Your leadership, creativity, and passion for design will help elevate Unispace’s reputation while mentoring and inspiring the next generation of designers. You’ll drive our mission of creating workplaces that foster innovation, collaboration, and growth, while contributing to a culture of equality and inclusivity. /p h3What you’re responsible for /h3 ul liLead a variety of exciting projects, from large-scale to smaller initiatives. /li liWork closely with clients, providing support and solutions to assist their internal teams. /li liCollaborate with your Design Principal and all members of the Unispace team to ensure our methodology is implemented throughout the entire project life cycle. /li liCommunicate effectively with clients, designers, consultants, and technical and construction teams to exceed client expectations. /li liLead project teams in managing all aspects of design work, including preparing drawings, finish boards, and full documentation. /li liTransform and refresh workplaces and labs for a diverse range of clients. /li liPartner with our Business Development and Construction teams to educate potential clients on the unique value Unispace’s methodology offers. /li liOversee coordination between clients, teams, and various consultants (MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, structural, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution. /li liLead the design process from conceptual design to final construction documents. /li liMentor junior staff members, helping them produce exceptional designs and develop their skills. /li liCreate and deliver presentations that impress and inspire our clients. /li liDeliver projects that are both visually stunning, functional, and financially successful. /li liContribute as a valued member of a cross-functional team, stepping in where needed to ensure project success. /li liFoster a culture of equality, creativity, and innovation, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking. /li /ul h3Your experience and skills /h3 ul li8+ years of experience as an Interior Designer /li liDemonstrated success in leading high-performing design teams for Life Science, Corporate, and Commercial projects, including restacking, renovations, and phasing. /li liAbility to deliver innovative and impactful design solutions. /li liProficiency in design tools, including Revit, CAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Excel. /li liStrong presentation skills, both written and verbal. /li liExperience pitching and presenting to high-profile clients; experience in designing large corporate campuses is a plus. /li /ul pThe statements in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the person(s) assigned to this job.
