If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact. /p pbWhat You’ll Do /b /p pRole purpose: Ensures the seamless technical enablement and performance of interconnect and Roaming services across Vodafone and partner networks. /p pResponsibilities: /p ul liConfiguration, testing, and troubleshooting of interconnects required for voice, SMS, and data services, ensuring compliance with GSMA standards and Vodafone guidelines. /li liCollaborates with internal teams, external operators, and service providers to manage service openings, lifecycle maintenance, and incident resolution. /li liMaintain robust interconnect configurations and proactively monitor service KPIs to support Vodafone’s global mobility strategy and enhance customer experience. /li liDefine evolutions of interconnect guidelines and assist in preparing High-Level Designs (HLDs). /li liOwn technical decisions related to routing, signalling, and partner configurations; validate readiness and approve go-live for new interconnect launches; assess and approve network changes impacting roaming/interconnect services. /li liFocuses on Interconnect for Germany. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pCore competencies, knowledge and experience: /p ul liIn-depth knowledge of mobile network architecture (2G/3G/4G/5G) /li liFamiliarity with signaling protocols: SS7, Diameter, SIP, GTP /li liExperience with network elements: HLR/HSS, STP, DRA, PGW/SGW, IMS /li liUnderstanding of GSMA standards (IR.21, IR.85, IR.88) and IPX/GRX networks /li liGood understanding of the SW lifecycle: design, development, testing and acceptance, implementation, performance optimization and troubleshooting /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and stakeholder management, project and time management across multiple priorities, high attention to detail and accuracy /li liAdaptability to evolving technologies and standards /li /ul ul liMust have technical / professional qualifications: /li /ul ul liUniversity degree in computer science, telecommunications or equivalent /li liTelecommunications industry and project delivery experience (operator or supplier) /li li2–3 years of experience in telecom engineering, preferably in roaming or interconnect /li liA very good English level is required /li /ul h3Not a perfect fit? /h3 pWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
