KWA is an early-stage digital startup on a mission to make healthy eating accessible, efficient, and sustainable.
We are developing an AI-powered platform that connects users and nutritionists through intelligent meal planning, food waste reduction, and behavioral guidance.
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Intern to support us during a crucial fundraising and structuring phase—including grant applications, investment readiness, and financial modeling.
Your Role
You will work directly with the founder on:
Preparing budgets and financial plans for public funding (e.g. Invitalia Smart&Start; and ON funds)
Drafting and reviewing amortization schedules, equity planning, and cap table scenarios
Tracking incorporation costs, capital injections, and working capital needs
Supporting the business plan with cost breakdowns and investor metrics
Helping structure financial documentation for pitch decks, applications, and strategic plans
You Bring
Background in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills
Familiarity with startup funding models (equity, grants, convertible notes, etc.)
Good command of English; Italian or Arabic is a plus
Proactive attitude and desire to grow with a mission-driven team
