Essential Responsibilities Develop software test cases, procedures, and vectors based on high‐level and low‐level software requirements. Set up the verification & testing environment, applying the appropriate configuration. Support integration issue debugging, perform worst‐case analysis, and evaluate software performance. Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process. Perform technical root‐cause analysis and outline corrective action for identified problems. Document and maintain software verification artefacts. Support the software design reviews. Contribute to the verification and validation software test and analysis results reviews. Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments. Qualifications / Requirements Master's Degree in Engineering or other STEM disciplines with experience in software design and development. Experience in control software verification and validation activities. Knowledge of relevant software engineering tools (configuration management systems, build processes, debuggers, emulators, simulators, and logic analyzers). Passion for innovation and software development. Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken). Work visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required. Desired Characteristics Experience with software engineering tools (e.g., DOORS and Change & Synergy). Experience with Simulink Check to assess design quality and compliance with standards. Experience with Simulink Coverage to perform model and code coverage analysis. Experience with Simulink Test to develop, manage, and execute simulation‐based tests. Experience with Polyspace to identify software bugs via static analysis and prove the absence of runtime errors. Ability to document, develop, plan, and execute programs.
