As Senior Software Architect – M365 you will be part of the GE Aerospace Digital Workplace team and design, develop, deploy, and maintain our Microsoft 365 ecosystem to support our global business units including Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace company and Bank BPH. /ph3Essential Responsibilities /h3ulliExecute a technology strategy and roadmap in partnership with engineering, product, and operational leadership for software programs that enable GE Aerospace’s Digital Workplace ecosystem. /liliPartner with the business Digital Workplace and Cyber teams within Avio Aero and Bank BPH to achieve business outcomes and obtain voice of customers. /liliServe as part of extended staff of business Digital Workplace teams within the business units. /liliPerform global administration duties in support of the Microsoft 365 tenant hosted in Italy. /liliArchitect, design, and manage deployment of collaboration, productivity, device orchestration, mobile device management, business process tooling, data visualization, and intranet and document capabilities across the M365 ecosystem. /liliAssist in developing scalable architecture that can be deployed across several M365 tenants to meet or exceed regional regulatory requirements. /liliServe as subject matter expert on best practices for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. /liliWork closely with operations teams to monitor and optimize system performance through continuous iterations of application and solution refactoring. /liliEnsure designs meet or exceed cybersecurity and compliance requirements to hold GE Aerospace sensitive data. /li /ulh3Qualifications/Requirements /h3ulliHigh School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience. /liliPrevious professional experience deploying Microsoft 365. /liliPrior experience architecting and delivering solutions across multiple Microsoft 365 technologies including EntraID, Purview, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Exchange. /liliStrong understanding of Microsoft 365 security features, including data loss prevention (DLP/Purview), conditional access, and multi‑factor authentication (MFA). /liliDemonstrated experience with delivering M365 architecture and deployment plans for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. /liliFamiliarity with compliance standards and regulations (e.g., CMMC, ITAR, GDPR) and how to implement them within Microsoft 365. /liliStrong technical leadership skills including solid communication and analytical skills with a thorough understanding of software. /liliAbility to communicate effectively both within the immediate team and to technical leadership. /liliCapable of working cross‑functionally with development, operations, and other program managers to deliver groundbreaking collaboration solutions. /liliProven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with effective attention to detail. /liliAbility to evaluate technology to drive features and roadmaps, mapping technology trends to internal vision and strategy. /liliFluent Italian and English – Italian only. /liliCitizenship.
