A role you will love
You will receive full training and support to perform your role to the highest standard. As part of the IT Support (Client Services) team you will plan activities such as procurement of technical resources (hardware and people), perform tests of IT systems, and prepare resources to ensure continuity of service. You will also have ongoing training to maintain high performance and may support Shareholders meeting management services.
Key responsibilities
* Hardware management (requesting repair of faulty material, supply of new material, disposal of obsolete/faulty material, purchase of accessories and consumables).
* Analysis and simulation of meeting-season scenarios and planning of required hardware.
* On-site inspections of meeting locations for technical and operational assessments; interactions with fitters/technicians.
* Drafting the technical project for meetings, including hardware used, planned LAN scheme, and activity timing.
* Technical and system support before, during and after meetings.
What you will bring to the role
You will support client service managers and their teams in the operations area. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team with colleagues, suppliers and customers, and strong problem-solving ability with good stress management and a willingness to learn.
Other key skills and requirements
* Administration of systems and domains based on Windows Server 2016 / 2019.
* Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
* Experience in managing VMware virtualized systems.
* Familiarity with configuring and managing LAN networks (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall, switch, router, access point).
* Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) for automation of operations.
* Excellent knowledge of English: B2 level or higher.
* At least three years of experience in the sector.
* Must hold a driving license and have access to own car; available for short trips.
* Understanding of Windows 10 or higher; Windows Server 2016 or higher; iOS mobile devices; Microsoft SQL Server.
* Basic familiarity with SQL, Python, and C#; general knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
