Job Summary
Shop Operations Supervisor – responsible for daily operations of the Avenza plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops. The role requires managing shifts across three days (Night, Day, Afternoon) for graduated candidates who have proven experience in shift management.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise the shop operations team following the directions of the Planning & Manufacturing Engineering Department and Ops Leader.
* Ensure consistent and effective shift‑to‑shift transition.
* Manage people presence, absences, and shift hours.
* Verify completeness and correctness of documents (cycles, test plans, drawings).
* Enforce safety rules (HSE) and organize HSE talks, quality discussions, and improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with quality inspections to resolve nonconformities.
* Ensure proper replacement of tools and equipment at each workstation.
* Support operators with technical expertise and facilitate discussions with UTOF and Engineering Department.
* Support line performance KPIs, guaranteeing line accounting (e.g., DL hours, inefficiencies, attendance).
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
* High‑energy, self‑motivated, willing to take on responsibilities across functions and team boundaries.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* EU work permit required.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay range: €36,800.00 – €55,200.00 gross per annum, based on education, qualifications, experience, and skill set. Eligible for a Variable‑AIP annual bonus plan with a target incentive of 5% of base salary, depending on key business metrics and individual performance.
CCNL Metalmeccanico applicable; benefits include pension (Cometa), medical insurance (Generali), welfare credit (€250 annual), and Employee Assistance Program (24/7 support).
Overtime rates are governed by CCNL Metalmeccanico: daytime and nighttime overtime premiums as specified by the collective agreement, with additional shift premiums for shift workers.

Relocation assistance is provided. The position is located at the Avenza Shop. The role requires working on a 3‑shift schedule and involves graduate shift‑management experience.
