About Cargoful

In the AI Era, modern technology should be the backbone of supply chains, but the world is not quite there yet. From retail stores all the way up to large-scale enterprises, professionals are craving tech solutions to run supply chain operations in much better ways, saving money and reducing the environmental footprint on our planet.

That's why we are building Cargoful, an AI-based SaaS company that is building the operating system for transport operations. We are a team of young and international professionals who want to change how supply chains are run, from the ground up.

We come from top companies and research centers (MIT, McKinsey, NASA, London Business School, Leonardo, Politecnico di Milano, Sant'Anna), we are backed by leading institutions from Silicon Valley (Berkeley Sky Deck) and Italy (s2capital, B4i) and driven by a strong will to make things happen.

Today our platform delivers measurable impact in 15 countries, with enterprise customers such as P&G;, GLS, Bindi and Forno d'Asolo. The market is responding fast to a strong product and we now need to accelerate the commercial engine.

That's where you come in.

What You'll Work On

The Role: Scale the Italian Market. As our BDR, you are the tip of the spear of our commercial engine. You'll work directly with Filippo (CEO) and Francesco (Head of Sales), owning the top of the funnel: from AI-enhanced prospecting to first call set-up with Supply Chain directors and ops managers, all the way to handing over qualified opportunities to the team.

You're a doer who treats outbound as a craft and a numbers game: you know that today this tradeoff is no longer true .

You will be working on specific projects across the commercial engine. Your activities, which will change and evolve rapidly, will include:

Outbound & Pipeline Generation

- Build target account lists across Italian vertical industries: research, enrichment, segmentation, prioritization
- Run outbound at scale: calls, email sequences, Linked In, multi-channel cadences
- Qualify inbound and outbound conversations, book discovery meetings, and own the handoff
- Hit and exceed monthly targets throughout clear KPIs

AI-Enhanced Sales Ops

- Experiment and deploy automations that make outreach faster and more personalized, without sounding like a bot
- Use LLMs and tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Apollo, n8n, Make) to compress 4 hours of research into 10 minutes
- Run experiments on messaging, cadences, and segments; share what works with the team

Sales Enablement & Market Intel

- Adapt decks, one-pagers, and commercial docs for targeted accounts and verticals
- Bring back signal from the field: objections, pain points, intel, and feed it back into product and marketing
- Help shape the playbook as we scale a structured commercial team

How You'll Make It Happen

- Be hands-on. You don't just suggest how to do it: you execute, iterate, and make the system run better every week
- Use tech and AI intelligently to make the machine move faster (prospecting, personalization, workflow automation) without losing quality
- Work directly with founders and senior team members, with high exposure and high ownership from day one
- Treat every "no" as data, every meeting as a chance to learn the market more deeply

Who You Are

- You want to be among the first hires in the Sales team, to shape it and make it grow with the right drive to make things happen into an environment where we always raise the bar
- You want to experience building at an AI startup in the midst of a social and technological revolution and you want to do it in sales, where the impact is measurable every month
- You want to be a star jolly: flexible, high-energy, fast-learner, you fill in gaps and keep momentum
- Doer, Owner, Hands-on: you take responsibility and close loops without being chased
- Recently graduated (
- Comfortable with the everyday tools and tech of today's world (ChatGPT, Claude, CRM, n8n/Make, Sheets/Excel)
- Preferred: any smart-automation project, prior outbound experience (even as a side project), marketing experience or understanding of B2B SaaS / logistics / supply chain context

The Deal

- Clear growth path: BDR → Senior BDR → Account Executive, with the opportunity to grow with the sales team and be among the first hires
- Full-time, permanent contract
- Full AI tooling + tech stack to work efficiently
- Set-up: Hybrid, 3 days/week on-site in our Milan office (Porta Romana)
- Compensation: €27–38k OTE (RAL base €24–28k) + food stamps
