Position Overview
As a Graphic Designer, you will be the person in charge of making all decisions related to the visual side of the brand. You will have the opportunity to soak up the concepts of our startup to develop it and make it stand out.
We are looking for an art director that can consult and assist in the branding design process and help execute it in professional software. The person needs to be passionate about designing a brand from scratch, show initiative and show us their vision. The successful candidate will manage a team efficiently and will be responsible for growing the brand in a way that is consistent with our values, by the provided briefing, brand feel and overall strategy.
You will be developing our brand identity in all of its formats: web design, social media, packaging, and printed resources. We are looking for a designer that can holistically understand our brand values, to generate creative and accordance designs. The successful candidate will be responsible for briefing other designers, reaching the goals, and leading different creative processes at the same time, so the person needs to have a multidisciplinary approach and be organized and passionate about designing a brand.
This on-site internship starts in August-Octobe for 3-9 months based in Sicily.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Academic education in graphic design or a related field (Bachelor's degree minimum)
* Proven experience in graphic design or a similar role.
* Optimal knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator Photoshop/InDesign)
* Charismatic and able to manage a team
* Proven graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
* A strong eye for visual composition
* Team player with a "startup spirit"
* Creative mind and an eye for detail
* Clear and effective communication skills in English
* Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
