Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Microbiology Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert support to customers, ensuring they achieve optimal results from our products.
The primary function of this role is to perform demonstrations, conduct instrument installations, and provide training to customers. You will also be responsible for solving complex problems, making decisions, and implementing solutions.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with regional/local teams to protect, maintain, and grow company business. This involves communicating regularly with local, zone, and management teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support includes pre-sales and post-sales performances of demonstrations, training on instrument operation and maintenance procedures, installation assistance, and field support.
* Work closely with regional/local teams to protect, maintain, and grow company business with an effective focus on the support of the installed base and communicate regularly with local, zone, and management teams.
* Communicate technical and clinical information to ensure customer use instruments efficiently and effectively in appropriate applications.
* Drive continuous improvement of activities and processes that add value to customers and business. Monitor customer satisfaction targets and adjust priorities and/or project tasks to enhance customer experience, identify new needs, and provide related solutions not initially identified by the customer.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Master's Degree in Biomedical or equivalent; Microbiology Master's Degree is preferable.
* 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
* Open to travel up to 85% of the time (driving license is mandatory) with overnight stays in Italy and abroad.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills both in English and Italian.
* Able to work autonomously, being a team player as well.
