To support our important development initiatives, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure & Systems Technician based in Areco, Abbiategrasso (MI). This role will provide first-level technical support to users based in Italy, resolve incidents related to workstations and systems, manage and maintain virtualized infrastructures both on-premise and in the cloud, and ensure compliance with backup procedures.
What will your challenges be?
* Management and configuration of Microsoft Office 365 accounts
* Configuration, management, and maintenance of virtualized servers (VMware technology)
* Resolution of first-level incidents through ticketing tools
* User support for company employees, solving hardware and software issues, configuring devices, and providing guidance on technology use
* Management of backup infrastructures on-premise and in the cloud (Veeam Backup technology or similar)
* Documentation of procedures, ensuring information quality
* Continuous monitoring of trends and innovations in information systems, and proposing new initiatives to improve efficiency and technological agility within the group

What are we looking for in your profile?
* High school diploma in a technical/IT field
* 3 years of experience in similar roles
* Knowledge of virtualization technologies, preferably VMware
* Knowledge of backup solutions, preferably Veeam Backup
* Experience in managing Windows environments, from domain architecture to endpoint management
* Networking knowledge
* Knowledge of Linux operating systems, Fortinet products (switches, routers, firewalls), and AWS environments is a plus
* Intermediate level of English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
* Ability to communicate and work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
