We are seeking a motivated professional passionate about environmental sustainability to join our mission-driven team. Position overview Limenet is hiring a dedicated Market analyst and Permitting Lead with the main role of managing plant’s permissions to build and operate. Moreover, part of your time will be dedicated to the development of market analysis, which will also support the preparation of applications for grants and funding programs aimed at financing plant development. You will also collaborate in the obtainment of certifications and the managing of carbon credits. Responsibilities Obtainment of plant permissions: Contacting the responsible institutional personnel to identify the necessary permits and documents. Document development in cooperation with the company's engineering department and in line with the project’s specifications. Establish a strong relationship with local stakeholders for future collaborations. Market analysis Development of market analysis regarding both Limenet’s future expansion and general market analysis (energy, lime, carbon markets and others) Carbon credits Assisting in the writing of Measure Reporting and Verification documents, on the indications of the Regulatory Affairs responsible, to support the company's enrollment in carbon credit registries and enable the sale of credits to clients. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering or similar, valued for demonstrating a strong foundation in business analysis and flexibility to work on multiple projects or Degree in Law or similar, appreciated for providing a solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to permitting processes. Proficiency to work independently and report progresses: the ideal candidate should possess the ability to prepare comprehensive reports, and effectively manage autonomously the permission’s obtainment process. Familiarity with Office package: ability to write and design documents in line with requirements. Ability to clearly resume and report the jobs done. Two years of experience in market analysis or permitting processes are required. Strong qualities of proactivity, independence, flexibility, quality of work and a focus on achievement. Be able work and manage different projects at the time. Fluent Italian (native or C1 level) Experience with maritime permitting processes or complex industrial projects. Familiarity with CO2, energy, and lime markets. Knowledge of carbon credit regulations and environmental certification processes. What we offer A dynamic and innovative work environment.
