It provides robust tools to manage and showcase their tournaments, games, and players directly within the Sofascore app. With over 30 million monthly active users (MAU), Torneo offers an unparalleled opportunity for organizations to digitize their operations, enhance visibility, and engage with a global, passionate sports audience. /ppbABOUT THE ROLE /b /ppWe’re looking for a proactive, results-drivenSenior Business Development Representative(BDR)to lead growth efforts forTorneo by Sofascoreand represent the broaderSofascore products and servicesto top sports organizations worldwide. /ppIn this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing partnerships with sports organizations, from local clubs to national federations, to bring their tournaments, matches, and athletes onto the Torneo platform, and thus visible in Sofascore. You’ll manage the full business development cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and execution, driving Torneo’s expansion and impact. /ppAt the same time, you’ll promote Sofascore’s full suite of services to major global sports entities, conducting demos, building strong relationships, and closing high-value deals. As the go-to person for sports partnerships, you will play a key role in expanding Sofascore’s global presence, ensuring successful collaborations and overseeing their execution. Your work will be central to positioning Sofascore as a trusted, strategic partner in the world of sports. /ppbYour tasks and responsibilities /b /pulliProspecting and identifying new partnership opportunities with sports organizations, from local clubs to national federations, by conducting in-depth research, attending industry events, and leveraging industry networks /liliActing as the main point of contact for sports organizations, managing relationships to ensure smooth and successful communication and collaboration /liliProactively seeking and closing deals by conducting on-site and online meetings with potential partners to drive adoption ofTorneo by Sofascore /liliPresenting and promoting the full Sofascore portfolioto major global sports organizations and identifying opportunities for broader collaboration /liliCollaborating with our Business Development Team Lead to define short-term and long-term expansion strategies, ensuring Sofascore’s sustained growth /liliTracking and reporting partnership progress, including key metrics, success stories, and areas for improvement to continuously optimize the sales and partnership process /liliSupporting sports organizations in effectively utilizing theTorneo by Sofascoreplatform to enhance their digital presence, improve fan engagement, and optimize the management of their competitions /liliStaying updated on industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging emerging technologies to continuously enhanceSofascore’s and Torneo by Sofascore’svalue proposition and broader business opportunities /li /ulpbWhat you bring to the team /b /pulliAt least5 years of experiencein business development, sales, or account management roles, with aproven track record of consistently exceeding KPIs, sales targets, and growth objectives /liliMinimum3 years of experience working within the sports industry—such as a sports organization, federation, league, or sports-tech company—with strong knowledge of its structure, stakeholders, and commercial landscape /liliDemonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategiesor expansion plans in new markets or segments /liliExperience working withC-level stakeholdersand navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers /liliProven success representing a company at a senior level inmeetings, conferences, and key industry events /liliStrong ownership of the entire sales process, fromprospecting and pipeline management to closing strategic, high-value deals /liliExperience building or optimizing sales workflows, including lead qualification, CRM usage, andpartner onboarding /liliComfortable withreporting KPIs, tracking performance metrics, and contributing to sales forecasting and planning /liliFluent in bothEnglish and Italian (high proficiency required); additional languages are a plus /liliPassion for sports and the ability to engage meaningfully with sports organizations at all levels /liliExcellentnegotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a strategic mindset and strong commercial acumen /liliHigh level of independence and self-motivation, with aself-starter mentalityand a proactive approach to driving results /liliStrong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment /liliWillingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and represent Sofascore on-site /liliCollaborative mindset and openness tomentoring junior team membersor contributing to team knowledge sharing /li /ulpbWhat we offer /b /pulliThe chance to work on a globally recognized brand in the exciting world of sports, collaborating with partners like the Ceará State Football Federation, Alagoas Football Federation, and many others, making a real impact in the industry /liliAccess to courses and events that foster both personal and professional growth /liliFlexibility to organize your workday, promoting a healthy work-life balance /li /ulpbSounds good?
