Job Description: On a daily basis you will design, manage and implement activities relating to Histology studies setting priorities and timelines and adhering to these timelines. You troubleshoot and implement new methods as the need arises and you transfer assays and technologies to the appropriate development group. On a daily basis you will contribute to data interpretation. The hiring manager expects that you organize a robust communication line to all other relevant people in the organization. Finally, you are responsible for high quality analysis, documentation, and presentation of attained results, including report writing and preparation of presentations. You write data reports and peer reviewed materials for internal and external purposes Qualifications: - Degree in biology, biotechnology or similar; - English is mandatory for the position - At least 5 years of practical experience in a histological laboratory with knowledge of the following techniques: - Immunohistochemistry/histochemistry - Processing and cutting with descaling agent and without descaling agent - Experience in using slide scanner - Experience in image processing software - Processing and sectioning in paraffins, soft and hard resins (Plastic/PMMA) In this role, the work will be barying all the time and you need to be prepared to work on multiple different projects simultaneously.
